Yvelines : the Thoiry Zoo flooded with a thousand lights at nightfall
Until March 10, it organizes Lumières Sauvages, the first festival of illuminated giant lanterns, a tradition from China.
The dark night falls on Thoiry. It’s about 6:00 p. m. The gardens of the famous zoo will fall asleep. But suddenly, an anonymous hand lights up the magic bestiary. 600 giant sculptures, magnificently illuminated, suddenly transport you to eternal China. The wonder is immediately perceptible in the eyes of children… And of the older ones….
